Ralph McQuarrie has passed
I just saw this on Facebook. Ralph McQuarrie - artist and designer extraordinaire - passed away today at 82.

Fortunately, his work - conceptual art and design on all the major sci-fi franchises and more - will live forever.
Rest in Peace, Mr. McQuarrie.
