There were the 12 colonies of man.

They are a colony all their own, the 14th Colony.

Mesa back to talk some more and bore, bore, bore! :p
I explained the top third and bottom third of my signature earlier, but now I should explain the newer middle third which ties in directly with my user name. The sig explians "14th Colony" perfectly as the loyal colony which ties in with the classic original series, the patient, hopeful fans who want nothing less than a revived continuation of the classic beloved series. And so I am the 14th Colony, and perhaps so are YOU. Warrior must have been inspired by my user name for he asked me (In the Battlestar Novels thread in the Feedback section) if he could use 14th Colony to name the fanfic section at BattlestarGalactica.com. Thus I am honored to have a section on the official board to be named after the concept of my user title. Pretty cool, huh? It makes me even more proud to be none other than the 14th Colony!

Sith Lords
My former running buddies would play darts, and some would play Counter-Strike.
We changed the name of our dart team to "Sith Lords" (and would rearrange a letter if we lost) and all took "Darth" names.
I figured Bob Marley as a Sith would be humorous, and signify a preference of vices.
Other humorous Sith Lord names included Darth Oswald (Lee Harvey),Darth Diggler(Boogie Nights),and Darth Holliday (Tombstone fan).

Let me know if I mis-understand this thread with my answer. Blue Squad is the coolest Viper Squad in BSG. I feel alot of my favorite color in painting is aquas and blues of too many numerous shades to mention. 2001, was also the year that I learned about the revival effort. It was my introduction to the internet. Damn was I a slow learner!

Sorry so late
Ok so like I was told to mosey on over here and post on this thread. (quit nudgin I will intro myself soon enough...can you believe it I have the case of the shy's) (for those that know me...quit laughing....)
Avatar: Michael actually found this for me after I moaned a bit about not having a jedi avatar or jedi smilies (which I am still moaning about that...hint hint). This is actually Bastila Shaan from the game Knights of the Old Republic. He was sweet enough to put in my signature purple blade for me. (my blade color regime has grown since then as has my collection)
User Name: Dark Jedi.... hhmm self explanitory I guess. My first REAL costume was an all black jedi costume that I made myself (only to find that it resembles a few designs in EPII - the only thing I stole from them was the leather tabbards). I have a character background on my costume and she is a shadow jedi - not good not bad. Others told me that the name fits me because I tend to get really mouthy (oh boy do I tend to do that... The name actually has taken on many other reasons as the time has past. Personal reasons, but good reasons. It's always good to have friends like these on the boards (Charybdis, Jewels, Thomas, Micheal, Micheleh, Dawg, Muffit, OWD, LucianG, uhm uhm Ojai22, uhm Warrior! yipes... uh... JJrakman.... ok so there are too many to name but they all tend to keep me in line at some point....(sorry guys...) Yes I LOVE Star Wars, that's never been questioned.
Signature: I have actually used 2 different ones.... a quote from Cruxshadows "walk away" and then this one from Evanescence. Each signature I have used has been dark-ish, but it reflects my feelings. Sorry don't feel like going into details, if I did well...this is already long enough as it is. lol
So! There's a small peek into the mindset of the Dark Jedi (scarey huh?!)
Kristi
the dark jedi
and her bouncing army!!!! (just for you thomas...

Well, mine is simple really; I got the nickname Gunner when I was in the Army after winning a case of beer for my platoon in a machinegun competition, and the k19 was my roster number when I used to be on the Fire Dept. The sig line is just because I got a kick out of Starbuck's reaction to how they added the 2nd pulse generators on his recon viper in "the long patrol", and my avatar is just a pic of my head on Starbuck's body with the help of Photosuite

That's cool Gunner!! I like that tale, kinda gets me in the mood for a shot of grog! Even this early. I can do that because I'm an artist and work at home. So iI drink when I feel like it.

ok here goes mine
Username: I chose it because of my favorite show and the year I was created!
Sigs: I chose three of them from a show or movie I liked. One was from a quote from my senior yearbook from a guy I knew.
Avatar: I had one of a viper and it was okay but Warrior created this one!

Muffit
I like your avatar, Muffit! I've always wanted a daggit, I remember once writing a letter to Santa about it. I never did get that daggit, though.

Hi Stray Viper! Looks like you even got a snapshot from your sig line episode! Cool!
Thanks for the kind words! Every once in a while you can find the talking furry daggit on EBay for between $60 and $100. I tried bidding once but didn't get it. There are usually lots of the small plastic ones for a few dollars though.
I figured Muffit was a perfect fit for me, cuz most of the time I have the common sense of what's inside - Evie the chimp!
"Evie... chin up! Evie... Evie... chin up!!!"

And the avatar came courtesy of Thomas who was kind enough to provide it after I finally was able to join CF.

I loved the clip in the deleted scenes where Muffit played by Evie walks away and there is like loose parts scattered on the floor and the comment that came after it just broke me up!

Before I got the Dvd's got how they got Evie to do the air duct scenes in Fire in Space. Next to Apollo, Muffit was my second favorite!

Currenly, my favorite avatar on this board belongs to Dark Jedi. Way cool image there.
Hey jjrackman, the alien in your avatar, I seem to remember that it was the head of the Imperious Leader in the remake. Obviously not, as we have seen in it's premier. But is that the Imperious Leader designed and planned for the DeSantos version then?

A magenta saber. Sweet.
Is the artwork yours, or did you get it from an EU character? Either way, does your knight have a name?

Ah, but to me, a photographer and photo lab manger who works with color filters all the time, it's magenta.
