So, unless I have legal jurisdiction to assert any rights to my own opinion, I have no rights to my own opinion. Gee, I'm so abjectly apologetic. In order to relieve any other person participating in this "forum" from having to read such "inflammable" material," I'm not going to bother participating in this forum any further, since it's glaringly apparent that only certain view points are welcome. Really, why do you bother, if you insist on such a narrow scope of opinion? What a waste of space and time, for those who differ from you. Give some warning next time, why don't you, for those of us who still believe than a forum is for all opinions, not just those who make everyone else feel all warm and fuzzy.

Certainly you have rights to your opinion.

You do not have the right to say anything you want on someone elses website.

It is not a legal issue, but one of manners.

And of course, that opposite camp has plenty of rude adherents as well.

If I did not have the right to say WHAT EVER I WANTED on someone elses website then there should not be a forum here! Expressing a difference of opinion from the majority is not rude unless you are hypersensitive. So if you wish me to be polictically correct then tell me before I express my opinion so I do not hurt your little itty bitty feelings. Rude is just another word for polictically incorrect, or in this case Sci-Fi incorrect.

Eskimo, when inviting someone into your home, it would be remiss of that person to then pee on your carpet would it not?

Regards,

Peter

Ease off man. You are coming off as being hypersensitive.

As fans of the mini in a forum owned by fans of TOS that feel slighted by the very existance of the RDM product,it is our place to represent our views with due concideration to the sensitivities of others.

You certainly aren't hurting my feelings, but this kind of response is rather petty.

Attacking moderators will never help you get your point across.

I went through a similar situation when I first started posting here.

The notion that every forum should be "no holds barred" is in my view, rather short sighted, and restrictive on others as what they can do with their webspace.
There is a history on this forum and others in BSG fandom of RDM supporters maliciously attacking those with opposing views.

I think comparing this forum to a person's home is a little ridiculous and apparently you are comparing my opinion to "Pee" so you are basically making my point that I am not free to make my own opinion, Thank You!

Eskimo,

I'm closing this again so that you and I can discuss this via Private Message.

Since the discussion on this thread has generally drifted toward a comparison of the mini-series vs. In Harm's Way and is currently being discussed at the following:

http://www.colonialfleets.com/forums...&threadid=5758

I've decided to keep this thread Closed. Hito, it's your call regarding this thread being re-opened.

Thanks,

BST
