that minor problem was averted. I got her to agree on wearing a shawl or jacket in another color over the dress to accent the colors! Its mostly organized. Got a few more things to do and its all set but we are mostly done. My older sis is doing the invitations, my mom's friend is in charge of the centerpieces, my mom and I are doing the favors and making my veil. Dad got the hall and the food and dj settled. I booked the church ahead of time. So its just the minor details now.

Could I ask anyone who is so inclined to put in some good thoughts for the following people:

-My uncle, who is dying of cancer at the age of 48, which is the same age my father died of a heart attack.

-My grandmother who lost a husband in 1999 and a son in 2000 and is about to lose another son.

-My aunt who had a bowel obstruction and a crappy doctor who almost killed her.

-My friend's son who was in a serious car accident and sustained numerous injuries including a brain stem injury, a broken neck and severe burns (the car caught on fire) and is currently in a coma.

-My sister, who is pregnant with her first child and has had to have TWO teeth removed in the last week (I know pregnant women are more prone to dental problems, because baby takes all their vitamins away, but this is ridiculous, she's only 27!)

I'm sorry, I'm just having a lousy day. Sometimes it all weighs down on me and I appreciate having this forum so I can talk about it a bit.

Now I am off to try to take those lemons life has given me and try to make lemonade.

Please know you are being both thought of and prayed for UWW.

Life is unsympathetic; but we as humans have sympathy in abundance.

We'll miss you Bsg, enjoy your holiday.

Cor, and I thought I was having a bad day.
My boss says I am not allowed to work (suspended) until a panel meeting at the end of the month and the consultant has told us that my daughters hip is shagged, and she needs a hip replacement. She is only 10 years old. She has been through worse, and has to have chemo once a week, which she finds very painful on top of everything else (which I hate having to inject, along with other drugs).

I don't think I could say it better. I am sending my love to Sorrell and unowhoandwhy and their families. Find time to take care of your own needs too ladies it's very important to replenish your reserves when you are busy giving so much of yourself to others.

I have always said that these experiences happen for a reason. Every bad experience that we encounter makes us that much stronger for the next one. I hope that you find the strength to rise above all your troubles, and become stronger with the experience.
