I believe that regardless of your stance on the mini or any series that it may spawn if you ALSO support TOS and the effort for a continuation movie, and if you treat the people here with respect, you won't find any problems with any of the people who run this site. Or with me. Treat TOS and the people here disrespectfully, you'll have problems.

THIS is the new direction for CF people. Dawg you hit on the head.
I would like to reiterate though that the same goes for anyone supporting the mini series. I'll respect everyone's opinions and i will defend all who post here. No special kid gloves for anyone.
Dawg, i may ask your assistance in somethings. Interested?

For the upteenth time: Her name is not Starbuck, it's KARA. Kara, Kara, Kara, Kara. There is only on Starbuck and HIS real name is Dirk. Meh. (And he's way sexier than she will ever be, too. )
Ron Moore/Bonnie Hammer are idiots: James' Bond movies still due $30 million + opening weekends with their 4th decade of centering around a womanizing, playboy, male spy.
Heh. done with my rant.

You...were...at....Ron's Friday trailer....presentation....?? Attractive?? *rendered speechless, Jewels faints*
Disclaimer to mini fans: Ron's Friday trailer, didn't do any of the actors except EJO any justice. I couldn't consider watching the mini after it.

Yeah, it took a few big bumps on my thick skull, but eventually my internal server came back online.
And don't even start with Starbuck!

If I speak my mind about the way I feel its going to get me in trouble.
Sooooo,
Hey if you liked the mini, that's your choice.
If you like the original, that's your choice too.
And, if you liked both then there is no problem with that.
(hey Don what part of Minnesota are you in? I'm from the great cheese state originally!)

Not everyone likes the Pack, Don. But,....my favorite team had the Vikings for lunch in SB IX. So, I might not be of much help here.
(That aside, I always did have an admiration for Bud Grant and the "Purple People Eaters". They had some darn good teams back in the 70's).

I like the forum upgrade. It's easier to read, easier to navigate. Good job (as usual), Tom.
Props to Don for deciding to take a more hands-on approach to CF. With his history and knowledge, CF will AGAIN become one of the leading BSG sites on the web. (If we say this enough, he won't be able to close it down again, right?)
Everyone knows how I stand on BSG. But I have come to realize that there are a great many people who have come to BSG fan sites because of the mini, who either remember fondly or are coming to appreciate TOS - and who will support the effort to bring a TOS continuation to the big screen. Because of this realization, I no longer hold any ill will towards those people who came forward and expressed how much they enjoyed the mini. I no longer disbelieve those who say they loved TOS but also enjoyed the mini.
Obviously, I can't speak for CF - I only post here, like everyone else - but I believe that regardless of your stance on the mini or any series that it may spawn if you ALSO support TOS and the effort for a continuation movie, and if you treat the people here with respect, you won't find any problems with any of the people who run this site. Don, Tom, correct me if I'm wrong here.
If you hated TOS, though, I hear Dennis runs a great board over at Subspace that is a pro-mini board.
So, I hope - and trust - CF will stay open permanently.
That's all I have to say. For now.
I am
