Hello, all,
I am new here to the Colonial Fleets. I heard about this site through the Skiffy and Cylon Alliance boards, and am happy to be here. Looking forward to some great discussions.
I am known as generalchang in the Skiffy and Cylon Alliance boards (so that there are no cloning issues...for some reason I had a rough time registering my name "generalchang" as a valid username here...so I went with martok2112.)
Respectfully,
martok2112

nuqneH, Martok! qaStaH nug?
Welcome to CF.
Martok was one of my favorite DS9 characters.
Chang was pretty good, too..... But then, has Christopher Plummer ever done anything poorly?

Welcome to the Fleets, (general) martok!!
It's great to have you on board! After you finish stowing your gear, head on down to the O-club, first round's on me!

Thank you ALL for the warm welcome.
nuqneH, Dawg! Glory and honor be with you, and your house! Martok and Chang are definitely my favorite Klingons, representing both sides of the good guy/bad guy scale.
BST, my friend, consider the gear stowed, me firmly planted in a seat at the O-club, and eagerly awaiting the first . And have you tried my infamous Wal-Martok brand Bloodwine?
SteveW, that is an awesome avatar you have. A shaweet looking Galactica!
Kingfish, good to see you here, Paul. (Muad'Dib?)
Starbuck, when are we pulling the next patrol?
For everyone that knows me on the Cylon.org and Skiffy boards, I am still working on my continuation story for BSG...kinda at a writers block right now, but I'll bounce back.
Let's get this party started!
Respectfully,
martok2112

Ouch! That was baaadddd! On the other hand, if it's from the 1978 vintage, I heard that was a very GOOD year!
btw, regarding Steve's avatar - that's just a sampling of his artwork! Check out the Gallery for more.
Uh...., waitress,........... another round please.....the general's THIRSTY!!!!

Ah...the vintage....
Yes, it is a very vintage Bloodwine, from 1978. I bought it on Sept. 17th, would ya believe? Finely aged, pure, and it has yet to be matched by any "reinvention".
The next round is on me, BST. I think some Ambrose is in order, yes?
I thought that was his artwork. Steve, you rock, amigo!
Waitress, a full round of Ambrose for my fellow Warriors!
Respectfully,
martok2112

BST, for shame - at the end of the Dominion War, Worf killed Gowron and Martok was made Chancellor - which outranks his former generalship.
Robes of office are heavier, too.

Thanks for the kind words Martok. The meshe is available here.
http://www.battlestargalactica.com/home/
Darrell is near to having an entire fleet of meshes for DL. There many very talented people here and their work will soon be in the gallery, be sure and look for it, I am sure there will be an announcement.

Hello...
Thank you, Emerita. So, you don thl'ngan costumes on occasion eh?
What is the translation of your thl'ngan name? I know that SuS means "mother", I forget the Na- part. In any case, nuqneH! Do you also visit trek-rpg.net? I can tell ya right now, at that site, people are as passionate about their Trek as we are about BSG.
Steve, I will definitely check the meshe out...thanks for the link. Cannot wait to see the fleet. I still cannot get over how completely lethal your battlestar looks! Awesome!
Respectfully,
martok2112

Thanks, Shatter, and Nightscape2112. (Us 2112's gotta stick together, donchaknow?)
Ah, Muffit....I just realized what you said...and it took me remembering Star Trek III to get it. Thank you, very much.
(Just don't send a Klingon Bird of Prey in to finish me off.)

Martok,
Welcome aboard the CA!
Just a quick question (and I think I know the answer already but I'm gonna ask anyway)
You wouldn't, by chance, be the same Martok that participates in the Star Trek LARP at Gencon would you?
Just curious!

LOL! Just curious....
On Earth, sometimes we say: "Dag nabbit!" whenever we are perplexed.
It's a wonder the Colonials don't say: "Nab daggit!"
Irreverently,

Yes, I find I am loving Colonial Fleets already. I have just gotten validated to join BSGClub now as well...so now I have found the Trinity of BSG Goodness. I will be posting my fanfic BSG Continuations there...called "Dark Exodus."
Thanks for the welcome cobrastrikelead,
