Great in the boasting but less certain in the proving of his boast is ^Wedge^; who got that ^nickname^ from the his(ahem) school experiences, and not from his flying education......

Bait for ideas would not be the same as bait for fish, so hold off on the sardines if you please..

Always Obtuse, the Pythian oracle at Delphini was famed throughout the ancient world as a glimpse at true fate. Influential and powerful, the Pythia utter words that could be debated for days.
Appealing to the Gods didn't help, they were indifferent to the suffering of mankind and rarely gave you what you wanted, though they sometimes gave you what you needed. Larson should have read his Greek Mythology more carefully when he named the Commander's son after the God who was a golden youth and an ancient model for Cassanova.. something much closer to how Starbuck started out..

Out of my class am I shown to be, by such wisdom and analysis, Lara,
Just one little tiny (gentle) correction;
Delphic refers to the Delphi oracle;
Delphinic refers to these guys
Quote:
Delphinic
This is the definition of the term Delphinic
Delphinic (n.) Pertaining to, or derived from, the dolphin; phocenic.
Delphinic (a.) Pertaining to, or derived from, the larkspur; specifically, relating to the stavesacre (Delphinium staphisagria).
From Webster's Unabridged Dictionary.1983
|
Reminds me of how many times I confused a Higgs boson with this guy.
My professor finally told me; if I was going to insist that Z(tau) inertia was described by the interactions of Biggs Darklighter with a top quark(wrong!), then the least I could do was;
know what the Biggs Hoson looked like!
Frank;

Frank, honest, and such a gentleman with the corrections
The name of the Delphic Oracle is related to the use of the word Delphini, as the first priests of Apollo to make landfall there were welcomed by the God in the form of a dolphin jumping over the prow of their boat.!
Not saying I'm wrong, not saying your wrong, just that words have a way of interrelating that keep us all learning.

Learning something new, I can add one more mythstake I made, corrected, due to my mythical ignorance! Blame the mechanic in me, for not paying attention when they covered Campbell.....Thank you for the new look at Apollo, Lara. Dolphins? Hey!

Kickboxer bouts can be clever, vicious or skillful. I don't mind the clever or the skillful, but the vicious makes me turn the channel!
