I think I shall have to splurge just to see if the line that the imdb trivia talks about is really there. Too funny.

I was reading the backcover of the dvd and there is a featurette about the film. I wonder if they talk to Richard?

Hi Kingfish! Yep, I believe Richard did say that line, I laughed really hard. I liked the movie so much I watched it twice in the same month .

Dirk Benedict also did s stint as comedian in a movie circa the same time, called Scavenger Hunt. I loved this movie too.

Our boys are truly ambidextrous talent wise. It was wonderful to see them again

I remember the film Muffit. By the way I saw a warner Brothers dvd promotion at my local Walmart Supercenter with Dirk's Alaska movie for $7.88. It also starred Charlton Heston.

Really Kingfish? I gotta get that! We have a Walmart here in town. Dirk and Charlton is a great combination - Mr. Heston is my FAVORITE actor of all time. There isn't a single current day actor who can come close to filling his shoes (current day actors please forgive me).

Mr Heston is to acting what sugar is to candy

Thanks so much Kingfish!

If you can't find it at Walmart, Amazon had it almost as cheap a while back.

My daughter loved Alaska. She wanted to watch it again and again the week we got it. And my spouse thought it was me! Dirk's versitile, to be sure! Only non-comedic role I'd seen him do, I think.

My Walmart doesn't seem to have the Charlie chan one (I checked the $7.50 ones, the $9.44 ones and started fishing through the terribly well stocked $5.50 bin with no luck. We did find some Christmas presents though, so time was not wasted.
