LOL Omfg...

I just downloaded the flash file.

WHY WASNT THIS STUFF LEAKED EARLIER!

These designs are totaly incredable (except for the viper).
If I had seen them earlier It would have totaly changed my attitude toward the reimagining.

Damn...

Hito i'm glad you liked it.

It was what we all wanted.

It's to bad more people did not attend Galacticon. You should have heard the words spoken and the stunned silence during DeSanto's presentation.

I was nearly brought to tears.

In some ways the Flash slides anger me...it was all so close. I'd like everybody who liked the mini-series to see them.

It was more than stunned silence, it was people fighting back tears, shock and fury. Idiot entertainment co. executives (Fox's and Universal's) Visionless....dorks.

Had Ron Moore seen it, he'd have been frightfully embarrassed. Guy Dyas' sketches had more polish than Ron's trailer shown the night before.

Please Glen, work with Tom.

It shows how if you actually care for the original show, what a dramatic difference it can make!

Please the old fans AND make new ones!

Its was the real Shock and Awe of last year.

Default I agree

DeSanto's vision was beautiful. Fantastic. Wonderful. What we'd all been dreaming of when it came to Battlestar Galactica.

Tom was willing to give the fans what they wanted - and yet have his own vision come to life too. Amazing how they coincided.

And listening to him talk about it - Tom I mean - that was so wonderful - and upsetting to know how close we were and how abysmally we didn't get what we wanted.

and it was wretched seeing the 2nd fleshed out dream of the day which was not to be completed. (Richard showed his trailer in the morning, Tom showed his preproduction art and demo reels in the afternoon.)

And to hear these two fellow fans describe their visions, and know that either of them were more right than what was aired. Because they loved the show and you could hear it in their voice when they talked about it.

I'd hate to think what Hito's reaction to the Foundation Imaging demo would be..... I think the opening is frozen in my memory--gorgeous, better than my favorite fx shots from TOS, better than my favorite B5 shot. Shoot. I want to cry again.

Titon, tell those guys you know: thanks.

When viewing the “DeSanto vision” after each slide I close my eyes. I imagine scenes and can hear the flowing Stu Phillips score. I “see” scenes with all the sophistication of Next Generation but with the grit and hardship that was Battlestar Galactica…in a context all ages can enjoy.

Default Well

Anyone playing the game is actually seeing the collective ideas of both Richard and Tom. I am convinced that the mechanical Cylons are the ones for the proposed series that FOX didn't do. Megus becoming a Cylon is a page out of the ending of the DeSanto mini only it was Apollo who was the intended victim. Megas even has the red eye that the Apollo character was going to display. The alien that Adama encounters is a dead ringer for Valor of the Sky. The Cylon Troop Transports are an idea used in rebellion as the colonials must fight the Cylons after they board the Galactica. Many of the movies are outstandingly done.

The movies were by Eden FX, they also did a Demo trailer for Tom, which he showed and he did say that many of his concepts were used in the video game.

I loooooove Valor. You had to tell me that....aaaaarrrrgh.
