We're down to the wire on the letter writing campaign. We also have a new
target [thanks to JJ]. Bob Wright has named Jeff Zucker as head of
Entertainment. He's the man to target at NBC, not forgetting Wright himself.
We don't have an address for Zucker so we're using Wright's address since
both letters will go to NBC. You may even use the same letter for these two
men.

I know everyone is tired of writing letters, etc. It's been a long road
getting this far, but there's light at the end of the proverbial tunnel. If
you only plan to write one letter, then Larson is probably your best bet as
he has the rights to a movie. That was my intention back in August when I
first mentioned a letter writing campaign. I was leaning toward Larson and
Commander Taggert's campaign was targeting NBC, and the two merged.

The mini loomed before us at that time and we didn't know where it was
going. We still don't know that, but at least the airing is behind us. It's
still my contention that we should concentrate on where 'we' are going, but
I understand the opinions of those who want to protest the Abomination.
Protesting can't hurt our cause; it may even help us. I don't share Moore's
opinion that a successful series based on the mini will then cause TPTB to
suddenly start throwing money toward a continuation movie. In fact, the
opposite would happen.

Letters to DeSanto can only be for encouragement since he has nothing to do
officially with the continuation movie. A show of support for him should
indeed give him leverage with Larson and MGM.

One other point. Since NBC and the SciFi Channel haven't made a decision regarding the mini going to series, now is the time to hit NBC with a flood of letters protesting it. Perhaps we can help them make a decision. When we have a movie actually underway we can leave them to their own devices.

I'm writing to both Larson and DeSanto. i gotta say thank you to DeSanto for the effort in trying and to Glen Larson about getting the movie right for it to work and spawn a huge continuation franchise! And YES this has been a long road without the rewards, so in 2004 this will be the last time! Time for me to get real realistic about a continuation's chances.

We've all been showing support for so long it's somewhat nerdish to go on sometimes! but we bare it all out. I hope with his last campagin it good comes of it. i'm doing this because it makes a change from all the online petitions and e-mailing of the past.

Time for the old fashioned letters to send a clear message!

An epic Continuation movie or bust it seems!!!..........

Count on me Ojai22 although mine will be send a few days after 2nd of January, due to other matters i have to attend.
