Then again, with a handle like
cobrastrikelead, most semblances of dignity have already left the building. Which in a sense is par for the course too.
But the fans made it very clear for a number of years now that what we wanted was a continuation based on the themes characters, ideas, and hopefully the actors of Battlestar Galactica, the original series. And if TPTB didn't think the fans had all the answers then they could have just as well as listened to some of the original cast or production team or other talent from the movie industry.
But of course that can't be allowed to happen. The customer is not right, and the goal must be to give the consumer exactly what they do not want.
The result is that we fans are very likely to get a warmed-over remixed combination of the slower episodes of V'ger and portions of the outline for BG:90210.
Par for the course. Somehow that does not surprise me.
