I hope that the character is actually sensual and sexy; I don't want her to be portrayed as sex-starved-killer robot.

This is kinda cruel, but I wonder if "Her range of emotions are very subtle" is a euphamism for "I can't act"...

I'm still wondering what Ron actually watched to get all these Idea's . I mean no disrespect but it obviously wasn't Battlestar Galactica.
Are we absolutely sure that some one didn't switch the DVD covers at the local DVD store when he bought or rented Saga of a Star world. Maybe he ended up with Terminator or Blade Runner and this new mini is an obvious mistake. lol
Sorry I couldn't resist.

I think the entire idea is bad. Making Cylons human is just a bad excuse for not having to have special effects. And the stuff I read in the interview is what we call "schoenreden" in German, talking oneself into an ideal while it is obvious that something else is the reason. I have not seen Ms Helfer act, but somehow I got a baaaad feeling about this...

And I think you could be verrrrry right.
And I think OWD is right too; just what was Mr Moore watching when he wrote this script.

I think she's living in LA LA LAND if she TRUELLY thinks for
one single moment that "EVENTUALLY" the original fans
will EMBRACE this GARBAGE!
I watched the original series because it was well written,
well made and well acted. Also I watched it BECAUSE there
was NOT alot of blood gore and wanton SEX!
If she thinks for ONE MOMENT that I will watch this garbage
when it shows a baby killing, and a sex palace of sorts with
everyone and their mother getting DOWN .......she has another thing coming.
NOR will I EVER allow my children to watch that TRASH!
NEVER!
