Suggestion for Silent-A-Thon on all Mini Series forums

Now that it has been reported that Glen Larson has bought the theatrical rights for BSG, and intends to do a Movie should there prove to be enough interest in one after the miniseries airs.

Since this is the case, I personally don't see any reason to participate further on any mini related forums. Nor do I see any reason in talking about it any further, that would only give it more "buzz."

So I propose a Silent-A-Thon on all mini-eseries related forums, and all miniseries related issues. Don't even click on the sites to see what's going on, don't give them hits. After all what's worse than bad buzz? Total and complete silence, apathy.

It'll be hard at first, that's for sure. No more goofy Avatars for me. but we'd only have to make it last from now until December 11th. That's only little over a month. Until then, we talk about Larson and Desanto's efforts, and appropriately ignore the miniseries altogether.

I will be glad to stop blasting the mini! The only reason I have been is because I thought that they would continue to ignore us as they have been for the past 20 years, and the fact that they were dumping this crap on us instead. But if this is true, GREAT! Just no 1980 continuation ok?

Your posts are always incisive and educational to me.

However, I'm just not sure if SILENCE is the way to go
on the MINI when the Scifi channel is BOmbarding thousands
of people with the promos for the mini........via the internet
and network television.

I feel that if we STOP pointing out the differences in the mini
from the original Series we might be hurting the very
cause that we are ALL fighting for.
