Did anyone make it to the Egyptian theatre?
Just wondering if any of our Californians got to go to the screening of the pilot and the Q&A....
I am sooooo envious: BG on the big screen again.....

I'm stuck up here in the Great Pacific NW. I hope Paul Allen gets that sci-fi museum open soon. I still Say Richard would have a great time up here. The weather's been great, but I'm sure that won't last much longer. As I recall, Dirk spent some time here early in his career and even attended college in Walla Walla.

I like the name Walla Walla captmiloman! Hey, I'll bet when residents of that town try to fight city hall, they call it, "up against the Walla Walla"
Just joking around! You know me...

From Steven Simak: "The Egyptian screening totally ROCKED!_ We had about 600 people._ The crowd was terrific and the panel was great._ We had: Glen Larson, Richard Hatch, Laurette Spang, Noah Hathaway, Richard Edlund and Peter Berkos._ We also had a display in the lobby which included art from the show, studio scale replicas of the Viper and Raider miniatures and an original Cylon costume from 1978._ Everyone seemed to have a great time. We will be posting a transcript of the event on the CFQ web site shortly."
That's www.cfq.com
Keep 'em peeled!

How fitting if RDM et al had been reduced to scooping out popcorn at the concession stand.

I'm glad to hear that there was a good turn out. I would have gone, but the timing was bad and living 8 hours driving distance from LA was no help!

I was actaully planning to go, but the thing that really discouraged me was the ability to acquire tickets. You couldn't get them by phone or the internet. You could get them by mail, but only if you were a member of Cinematheque (50 bucks). This, along with the fact that I also live 7-8 hours from LA by car....well, I just decided to give it a miss and save the money that I would have spent for Galacticon.
