Well I just watched the two previews for the mini, and its looks like a michael bay/roland emmerich or someother hack work,no passion, no craft. It's so video game looking,stale dialog,and stiff acting, toally non-engrossing it has no power to it other than the run-of-the-mill cut cut cut MTV crapola editing that a monkey can do.
And there isn't anything that the cast or crew have said that makes me want to stand up and get into, it has that stale uninvolved totally perdictable feel to it.

If shows were as good as the trailers ST: Nemesis would have been the best Trek since ST: The Wrath of Khan. If you have a fast connection check it out, it really isn't all that great. I should be careful cause I thought book, The Silence of the Lambs was a waste of trees, go figure.

I cannot yet grasp the idea of Kara "Bubbles" Thrace as Starbuck, probably never will.

I second that opinion. I can't picture Starbuck being anything but a male. Dirk played that roll so well it would be hard to fill thoes shoes!

Thanks for contributing to the forums. We do thrive on contribution of members.

With that site, we do know of it. The owner is rather...intense (to put it gently) on promoting the miniseries and bashing the original show which this forum is based on. That webmaster likes to be very disruptive all across the net. And he uses alot of false names and tricks to mess with people. Several people has relayed accounts of him posing as an FBI agent harrasing them cause of "suspected" cyber attacks. (even though the people who were being attacked never existed)

Its an ugly mess. But well... we do still see him lurking around the shadows...

I actually saw the last trailer on Sci-Fi Friday night just to see what it would look like. The only thing I could think of during the whole thing was that the thing did not look like BSG AT ALL!!!!!!! In fact, other than when EJO mentioned the word "Cylons" a couple of times, that thing would have been equal to any other third rate science fiction movie...

As I've said all along, this is not my BSG!!!!!!!!!

Really rough, like Eddie was your face was on fire and put out with an icepick?

I wrote his site a nice short note telling him he was the best actor on the "re-imagined" show.

It could be the work of the above mentioned folks that are so contrite now?

Was RDM less than truthful when he posted over at cylon.org, I think so. How else could the guy that got The Battlestar Galactica board moderated, lied decived, was going to sic the FBI on us wind up as the dude running RDM's GALACTICA lite board?

His words were much sharper, I had to paraphrase his words so that ray grower @ ASciFi.com would allow me to post it. It was me, ojai22, OWD & Captain Cumquat, a true friend of a continuation. OWD & ojai22 were the only one that didn't have a post deleted on that board.

I say TOUGH. If he didn't want to recieve MAIL from
the fans he shouldn't have given out his email in the first
place and should have had staff to "WEED OUT" the
battlestar gallactica stuff. And NO ..........I haven't
sent out any "COMMUNICATIONS" to him.

As for the "NEW BSG" site on the scifi channel ..........
I say it's a BUNCH of BS.
