Default MTV Movie Awards

Kind of an odd topic for a 'Battlestar Galactica' thread. But I was doing some channel surfing last night and watched the first bit of the MTV Movie Awards. One of the first set of presenters (if not the first) were Famke Janssen and Hugh Jackman from the X-Men movies.

During their little speech before presenting the award, they had a man in the audience stand up and while wearing a Battlestar Galactica t-shirt and start arguing with the actors about how one of the characters in the film was a girl when they really should have been a boy like in the original idea.

Just thought that I'd mention this and see if anyone else saw this.

I wonder if the guy with the T is anyone we know here.
Does anyone have the exact quotes from the argument?
Or a video clip of it would be great!

I saw that bit. The guy was an actor I've seen on that show, Just Shoot Me. He looks like a total nerd, and someone decided that he should wear a Battlestar Galactica T-shirt to play a nerd for the audience. He was doing a humor bit that's been done to death. That joke where the totally obsessed nerd asks unending questions to the actors about their own movie or series. The joke was a total bomb. There wasn't even a titter of laughter from the audience.

I said titter.

I didn't really think that the joke was at all funny either...

I was just wondering if it had been a coincidence that he was wearing the Battlestar Galactica shirt or if it was a message about the controversy of Starbuck being a female in the new mini-series.

I didn't know it was a skit. Oh, well maybe it will have a positive effect in some way.

Sorry for not making the fact that it was a skit clear. I recognized the guy and now that I've heard he's from Just Shoot Me, I can place him now.
