Default Popcorn aisle?

Here's an idea that hit me this morning. I don't know if it's been suggested/proposed or not but I'll toss it out here, anyway.
Moore's "the popcorn aisle is over there" comment could be used as a form of protest. I've been checking out the Scapers' efforts and one thing they did was, using the title of one of the Farscape episodes, "Crackers Don't Matter", they deluged the Skiffy offices with post cards made of cracker box fronts, boxes of crackers (which was later discontinued due to the anthrax scares) and just generally made Skiffy's mail room miserable with items dealing with crackers and noting Crackers DO Matter. They did something similar when Bonnie commented that they were looking for more female viewers and over 250 female Scapers sent Bonnie their bras.
So, what if we get as many people as possible to send Skiffy either bags of microwave popcorn or, more preferably, the used bags? Other targets for this kind of campaign would be the U.S. office of Vivendi Universal and, if anyone has the address, Moore's re-imagining production company. Comments could be placed in the used bags like:

I'll take the popcorn over the reimagining

or

Thanks for the suggestion, Ron. The popcorn is much better than your reimagination

Anyone have any other ideas on this?

Next time I'm im Winco or Costco, I think I'll get the vendors name off the bags of pre-popped popcorn. See if I can have them ship a few bags (cases) direct.

Default Yea, I like it...

Just say when...next week, I'm sending my & my wife's "X-Men 2" tickets to Michael Jackson, along with a brief message. If we do the popcorn thing, I'll do that too! I'll send him unpopped popcorn so he'll have to :chef: it.

I like the empty bag concept, or better yet, the empty bag with just the unpopped kernels still in the bag. It will be cheaper for us to ship, and they'll get no tangible benefit from the process. However, if enough people do it, they will remember it for a long time.

I agree with Lucian, If we send them unpopped popcorn they'll appreciate it. Hell, MartianHighCouncil will make a post thanking "all the fans" for their support and presents. Empty, grimy bags all the way. And put "The Other Aisle" as your return address.

Yes we Canadians love popcorn. How ever, just like the rest of the world, we don't like Moore's new production. he he he

Your right, anything but a grimy empty bag could be used against us.

Perhaps a dozen gallons of premium ice cream sent to Viacom would be more effective.

Default I've got popcorn

I wasn't sure how well the idea would be received, which is why I decided to see who thought it might be worthwhile to try. THE OTHER AISLE as a return address is a hoot, too, AO. I can just see the MooreRon mail room personnel wondering who the heck The Other Aisle is and why do they live in so many different places?

The Other Aisle
My address
My state and zip

Anyone else like to be the fly on the wall in that office?

Default Regarding popcorn containers

If you plan on sending a box or tub from a theater, make sure you rub it around vigorously with your feet on the sticky floor. That way it will be an extra special treat with micro-organisms as a bonus!

Let's do this. I'm more in favor of sending the unpopped stuff (the grease will bleed through the envelopes and (with the goofy world we live in) we don't want to have them thinking its some truly scary substance.) but if you don't pop the popcorn in the bag, just dump it out of the bag & send the empty bag.....might work. Thoughts ??
