Attemping to settle the Galacticon Protest

OK I will stop attacking this Galacticon event when and if the people in charge make a public statement on a message forum and the Galacticon web-site stating that the new producers, actors/actresses or any representatives of the new mini series are NOT WELCOMED to promote the new re-imagination of Battlestar Galactica mini series. The PTB’s of this mini-series letters and statements towards the original fans are a disgrace and allowing them to Galacticon to promote their mini series is a bigger disgrace towards the original cast, crew and mostly the fans of the original Battlestar Galactica.

To ask for a public statement of this kind is not asking for too much just to set some minds at ease. With comments on their FAQ like “we are receptive to possible participation by those with the planned 2003 remake” only leaves concerned fans like myself to believe that the organizers of Galacticon may some day either cave in and/or sell out and allow representatives of the remake promote their production to the fans in mourning.

I have many supporters who feel the same way as I do and I think we deserve a statement before we support Galacticon.

When you make a statement and PM or emial someone involved, like webmaster@galacticonevents.com first, that's a request. When you publicly post demands, that's a threat.

That also constitutes an offsite matter. If you want to talk to one of the organisers, go to the website and bring it up with them. Don't harass anyone who happens to be a member here.
