Taranis i would have to say that this is a really good render . . .
and you say your kind of new with LW . . ? Just one crit tho'
increase the glow on the engines of the Battlestars, but lower the intensity, and lower the intensity of the vipers engine glow as well. They just seem to be too different, if anything the engine power from the BattleStarts should be more intense than the vipers . . .
Other than that the image rocks . . .

That render looks better . . . definately a different feel to it, you'll see the more you experiment you will start to into account the lighting the camera angles and the effects . . . plus lighting, lighting plays a huge role in rendering.

Oh I know.. I have found I have not talent at the model making as I am unable to givt it the Time .. I must depend on craft people like yourself for the models On my wish list is the shuttle and the USS Enterprise from the TOS .. FABIOS is great but I would like to get in closer.. I like Jason lees Constitution in Sci-fi.com list but is a MAX and i CANNOT use it..

I'd retitle it to "the battle of Molocay" (spelling?)
I agree with santee on the engine lighting.
I like the arangement of theships in both pics.

Great image quality increases per render. You get better with each render.

Nice job
You may want to try to give a blur to some of the ships that appear further away. This will help to achieve a more realistic "depth of field" look. Great composition, but I'd like to see the largest ship even more larger. This will give the compsitiona bit more punch I think. Just some ideas.

Excellent renders Taranis, awesome actually. Way cool and very intense. I gave it a rating of 10 on that voting scale thing on that page.

I was thinking about what type of formations a fleet of large warships might travel in, and thought that they might travel in formations similar to WWII bombers. That way they'd be able to provide coverfire for other ships in the formation and eliminate any blind spots.

Just a thought...
