Default Schematics anyone?

I've searched high and low and the only schematics I can find that are decent are "too small". I try to sharpen the image and it instead blurs the hell out of it. I try to blow the image up and the same thing, the pixels are VERY visible. Is there ANYWHERE online that has decent sized - by decent sized I'm talking at least 600 X 400 - that I could d/l for my own "personal" BSG scrapbook? I've tried google's image search and it helped but I want details of what's what, not just a b&w drawing of 4-5 views of the ships and no legend. Can anyone point me in a good direction?

Have an update for you Phoenix they are bigger then in the other site I gave you
it took me an age to remember where I got them which is at StarshipBuilder.com
look in Reference Sources/Links and you will have no problem.

they are not 100% accurate as the artist has said himself.
I am going to try to do some schematics on the galactica myself when im finished i will let you know.

I have a 3950 x 1500 .jpg top down view of the Galactica here: (scroll to the bottom of the pagefor the link to it). The schematic is 100% accurate to the TOS ship. It's probably bigger and more detailed than most people need, but you can shrink it down to whatever size is convenient in most any picture editor program. If you want a side view or whatever, let me know and I'll create it and post it for you.

It's located on this page near the bottom: www.mortalstorm.com

Ok, I'll get on it then. BTW, If you use the 1 NM scale (that's 6076 feet) the launch tubes are 22 feet, 5 inches in diameter. I always favored the 1 NM figure, but to each his own I always say. I'd love to see the deck plans...how are you going to CAD them?

You're right, killer schematics! Just what I was looking for! Now if I can find something large in the way of a Viper or Raider schematic, I'd be in hog heaven!

http://www.shipschematics.net/ but I am always on the look out for schematics
For the Galactica "WESTY'S" are unbeatable im still trying to get my head around the amount of detail thats in the drawing.

If I see more Viper Schematics I will let you know right away.
all the best

Ok, the port side view is up. I'll do a rear view too sometime soon. As for the underside view, the only part of the ship I have completed is the head section, maybe I'll throw that up for now until I finish the model's underside part....that will take a few months of modeling I'm afraid.

Mortalstorm appears to be down, and I appear to have missed the boat for Westy's schematics.
Can anybody point me to a site that mirrors them?

Barring that, I have a nice big In box, large attachments no problem. Just don't put the word "viagra" in the subject. In fact, please use brackets ( "[" "]" ) in the subject, as my filters will make that easier to find amongst the spam.

"a" pic?

There's 9 of them. Click for the larger images.

*IF* you use these on another website, then I ask two things-

1. Credit. I created those in 3D, so I'd appreciate credits.
2. Do not direct link. That eats my bandwidth and when/if I change file names, it messes your own page up with broken images

Awesome stuff Warrior! Do you have a site with all of your work somewhere? And correct me if I'm wrong, but 3d Gladiators is no more right? Did it get rolled into another site? Is there a 3d site that you currently contribute to that the rest of us should check out?

And, for those of us who missed Westy's Galactica, can somebody share?

I think you may be looking for the large-size schematics that are actually in a different section of that site:

http://www.shipschematics.net/ships/ - about 3/4 down towards the bottom. High-res pics of my Gunstar design are also down there.

Unfortunately, remote image linking is no longer available from that server. The ISP realized how much bandwidth the SSDB was sucking up so they did some throttling countermeasures to cut down on the massive output. So, no more image linking to forums will be allowed. Apologies for this. Links to pages of the site, however, are still permitted.
