It rocks. I enjoyed the article Dirk wrote in Dreamwatch. Dirk will always be Starbuck to me anyways. Sorry this is how I feel.

Thanks guys I'm glad you like the new look.
Poor Darrell I worked him like a slave for weeks on it. I think I'll have to supply his chocolate milk for him for the rest of my natural life
I decided to put the Lost In Castration article up because it's been almost a year since it was written and technically because it was done for a magazine in circulation in the UK ( Dreamwatch ) they basically get first dibs.
I also decided to put it up to lay the absolutely ridiculous rumors to rest that are circulating on the skiffy board that Dirk is actually Languatron ( AS IF! ) and it was a Langy rant. Some things never cease to amaze me.
Anyhoo..onwards and upwards!

Hi,
I agree, the new site is fantastic. What content management system did you go with-- eGroupWare?
Regards,

Nathan,
Darrell used PHP Nuke. He'd be the better one to explain the system than I

No. It's not PHP nuke
It was going to be that, but I didn't like how it was setting up.
I used something much smaller, and in fact used the same thing at battlestargalactica.com when I webmastered that former fine site.
It's just a little thing called "Newsadmin" with phpMyCalendar intergrated into it.
It didn't work too great back when, but I modified it quite a bit to get it working right.
The forums is phpBB, as you can see, and since the time of bg.com, I have been able to intergrate the Gallery membership/profiles to phpBB.

Tracy & Darrell, good job for both of you! I especially like that you did post the Dreamwatch article. Excellent bit of writing, whether you wholeheartedly agree with him or not. He truly had Starbuck nailed and the appeal was in the flirting and the loyalty to his friends. (Foolhardy though Apollo may have been). How the execs then and now miss the fun of that is just beyond me.

There's a nice discussion in the forums over there regarding that Dreamwatch article.
One of Tracy's fav people was "chiming" in about it
