Default A Pipe Dream....

If only it could be so......

Lemme know what y'all think.

NOTE: This is NOT an actual occurrence. Merely a fan made mockup of a movie poster for a film that does NOT exist. No actors, producers, production crew, and/or directors have any involvement in this non-existent production, and have NOT endorsed this art. Only the writer of the story. Not intended to infringe on any copyrights, trademarks, patents, etc.

Only a work of FAN ART.

Humbly submitted by,
Martok2112 (Steve Dunlap) author, Battlestar Galactica: Dark Exodus

Nah. Not with a PG13 rating.

Excellent pic, though, Martok.

Oh wow!

That got me all wound up for a minute....!

The pic of the Battlestar is one of the best I've seen.... But, when did the landing bays get the "fly thru" feature?

As for the casting of Ms. Witherspoon, couldn't they come up with someone with a bit more gravitas for whatever role she was cast in? That's about the only criticism I've got.

Other than that - I love the way you dream Steve!

Best,
Bryan

Thanks all....

LOL! As for Reese...well, I just had to come up with a blonde real quick for the role of Dr. Pamela Severinson. D'oH! Perhaps Charlize Theron..now that I think about it. I might just have to do some modification to the poster.

The fly through bays was just an experiment of my monkeying around with some fill in art.

Actually, to me, flythrough bays would make sense. Think in the sense of a real-world aircraft carrier. If there was a serious problem upon a Viper making contact with the landing deck (i.e. the landing tractors--I imagine there is some kind of guide beam that assists the Vipers on landing--)...it could go back to full throttle and zip out of the Galactica. A Touch and Go.

I am glad you liked it though. Took me a couple of hours to do.

Respectfully,
Martok2112

Starbuck must have made one too many of those "brakeless" landings.

Nice poster sir!

ROFLMAO!!!!!!

That sounded better than the explanation I offered.

Thanks, Thom. I am glad you like it.

Not bad for Photo Impression eh? A program that is about a step and a half down on the sophistication scale from PhotoShop.

Its pretty good!

I can't judge the Photo Impressions though. I'm very unskilled at anything except photoshop. But I would hope it has at least the tools in photoshop v2.6. That was a good vintage!

Nice.

That's just way too fun doing a poster for your own story, Steve.

Oh, the many endless possibilities of how to get there.... (endless as in stories without endings). Dang it Steve, you and Rep are going to convert me into a fan fic writer yet.
