Tom DeSanto has a green light on "Transformers"
Hi everyone,
The news should be finally hitting the public media: Tom DeSanto is proceeding on "Transformers" WITH STEVEN SPIELBERG as Executive Producer!
Release is slated for 2006 from DreamWorks. It will be B-I-G!!! (Go Tom!!!)

Hi Michael, hope everything is alright with you man! I see San Diego ComicCon news is spreading like wildfire isn't it. Wow imagine the clout Tom DeSanto would have when Transformers and X-Men 3 come out in 2006!
I've been hearing Tom isn't on X3 anymore, but i can't believe that. If anything, as a producer he no doubt has several projects to get greenlighted. Transformers is just the latest one to really get going.
I just wonder if Tom, would bring on board 'Pat Lee' from "Dreamwave" who does the Transformers comic books? As a conceptual artist or something during the production.
Spielberg, DeSanto as producers. Man, so who is going to be the director then?

Michael, It's good to see you out and about. That is grand, wonderful news for Tom. I cannot believe I'm actually looking forward to a transformers movie. In the hands of a good storyteller that loves it: should be a great tale to watch on screen. And if you think "we" are rabid fan boys and girls, visit www.donmurphy.net and check out the transformers message boards.....we are quite calm.
So, how about those Thunderbirds? Aren't they due to fly this weekend?
