Need a little help.

I want to purchase the Battlestar Galactica epic DVD's . For the life of me i can't remember if the show was filmed in widescreen and shown in full screen or if i'm thinking of another show that did it that way. However, i wanted to know if their is a widesceen edition before i buy it. I spent several hours looking today and only have found the full screen edition.

Can some fine Colonail Warrior give a helping hand ?

it was shot for full screen TV and the features were cropped for widescreen when they released them in the theatre.
