Default Availability of Disc 7?

ezydvd.com.au lists that their BSG DVD collection includes an extra "disc 7" with deleted scenes. Does the normal U.S. release of the DVD collection available at amazon.com also include this seventh disc? Amazon described it as only having 6 discs. Is the 7th disc available in the U.S. at all, or only in the Australian release?

I live in the U.S. but have a region free player, so I'm trying to figure out which one to buy and would rather buy a U.S. version if possible, but I'd be willing to buy the AU version if it's the only way to get the extra goodies.

Default thanks but need more help!

Well, is there anyone here who bought the U.S. box set? If so, where did you buy it from and does it have disc 7?

The U.S. box set only has 6 disks, but most of them are double-sided and the "extras" are spread around on all 6 disks. If I remember correctly, the Australian release had most (if not all) of the extras on the 7th disk...

Thanks, people - I appreciate everyone's help on this.

I do remember hearing at some point that the AU version was going to have one or two extra bonus features - like 2 more deleted scenes or something along those lines. I read this on the 'net before the box set came out, so I don't know whether it's true or not, or where I read it. If anyone remembers anything about this, please reply.

Otherwise, I'll probably just buy the U.S. version.

I don't know whether or not it's worth asking people to list which version they have and what all the bonus material is - but if anyone feels inclined to, I won't object.

Again, many thanks!

Default AU features

I found a listing of what's on the Australian disc 7:

Quote:
Special Features On Disc 7:

Deleted Scenes From Classic Episodes:
  • Saga Of The War (34.50)
Gun on Ice Planet Zero (9.55)
    The Living Legend (12.14)
    Fire in Space (8.46)
    War of the Gods (21.59)
    Greetings from Earth (19.30)
    Baltars Escape (6.38)
    The Hand of God (16.59)
The Creation Of Battlestar Galactica:
  • Glen Larson (5.40)
    Inside Battlestar Galactica (The Cylons-4.47)
    Working with Daggit (5.10)
Photo gallery
Documentary (44.54)
A Sneak peak at Battlestar Miniseries (5.00)
Is all of this on the American version?

Ninth Lord -

All of the material you have listed for the 7th disk on the Aussie release is also on the US version. The cut scenes are on the same disks as the episodes they are taken from.

The BSG documentary is on the 6th disk as an extra and the following documentaries are on disk 3 (I think):

Glen Larson (5.40)
Inside Battlestar Galactica (The Cylons-4.47)
Working with Daggit (5.10)

The miniseries promo is indeed on the US version, but it is really just a long SciFi commercial for the mini. I know that the photo gallery is in there too, but I don't remember specifically.

It looks like both the US & Aus releases have all the same material, except that the extras are all on a disk of their own...

Best regards,
Bryan

Which to my mind makes a lot more sense than having them all on a separate disc...
