Richard's words on the Lowdown
I asked him for comments I could pass directly on to everyone about his interview on that "behind the scenes" special. I think he answered our questions.
Quote:
You can pass this along that I said everything I honestly feel on that interview in the nicest way possible. I have learned that it never solves anything to put people down in a nasty way. They obviously cut out my most adversarial statements and the ones where I really explain why I feel they made the wrong decision in the direction they chose. I also had only seen the 1 minute trailer at that point. If they would read my other interviews on the subject after I watched the whole show they would know that I had a lot of problems with the creative choices they made. The Sci-fi channel didn't want to include my most negative criticisms about the show. What can I do? All the best.
Richard

Even with the editing Richard shined. He told the audience in a subtle way that this show isn't Galactica. Dirk also shined and was a gentleman. I can't say the same for the new Starbuck. "Deal with it." No problem, I will not watch.
