Default Just a Quick Thank You!!!

I just wanted to express publicly my sincere thanks and appreciation for everyone envolved with this convention!

Me and my brother had a tremendous time! It was a blast to see all of my favorite stars and to meet people from all over the world, who shared a similar love for Galactica.

It was also a pleasure to finally meet some of the faces behind the online handles. I had the fortune of meeting Warrior and LadyImmortal. And though I did not get to talk to him, I also saw MichaelFaries. I just wish I could have met more of you!

Again, A sincere Thank You to all invloved!

Respectfully,

Malkyte

PS. I am making plans for the next one already!

Default Malkyte

I had a GREAT time talking to you and getting to know you (even if your brother was crashed out on another couch, lol!)

I hope we meet up again at another convention sometime!

Hehehe.... yeah, he was pretty out of it by that time!

It was indeed a pleasure to talk with you!

I will be keeping an eye out for future conventions now, so that I can meet more of the online folks! It was a lot of fun!

Default Cons are great! =)

I *always* go to Gencon - the one in the midwest that is. It used to be in Milwaukee, now it's in Indianapolis. You can always be sure to locate me there SOMEwhere =).

I'm debating a trip to Dragoncon next year but it will depend on funds and the like. After this year (four trips, all of them expensive) I have to count pennies for a bit!

But talking to you was one of the highlights of the weekend, Malkyte - you were great to talk to!

This was my first real full fledged con. I have attended ones in the past, but mainly for the vendor rooms and a few panels. This time I went all out. (well close to anyway)

My only regret was I wasn't bold enough to meet more people. I will know better next time!!!

There was a table there advertizing GenCon. It looked interesting. I haven't played any roleplaying games in a long while, so it sounds like fun!

We must have talked for a good hour and half if I remember correctly! I too, found it to be one of the highlights to a great con! :p

Respectfully,

Malkyte

"Yeah... I kept trying to get the Reg desk to post something about having the online folks meet somewhere at a given time.

Never happened."

Yeah, well, I was a little short on announcement boards. Sorry.

We shoulda organized it before we left, then we woulda known where to meet everyone.

Of course, I met Tracy and Darrell first - they were hanging out in FRONT of the hotel, talking and I was waiting for the shuttle that went to City Walk so I could eat.

I met Jules that evening while we were waiting to get in for Ron Moore's discussion - and thus we managed to pass a substantial hour and a half together.

I didn't get to talk to Michele much (you were always swamped when I saw you, Michele, but hi and thanks so much for all your hard work!).

And then Malkyte - was that the second night? Anyway, we had a great time talking together - twas fun - and I was mucho exhausted.

And frak, Tom, why couldn't I pin you down for two seconds, hmm?
