I haven't heard anything from DVDPlanet, either - but the release date isn't until next Tuesday, so I'm not going to get worried until then.

One would receive the e-mails after the set ships.

Default I use the Super Saver mail option, you may opt for faster delivery $6.00 more

Availability: This item will be released on October 21, 2003. You may order it now and we will ship it to you when it arrives.
1 of Battlestar Galactica - The Complete Epic Series
Delivery estimate: Oct 30, 2003 - Nov 6, 2003
i opted for is USPS regular mail, not express USPS, FedEx or UPS.

Ps. Amazon.com Sales Rank (DVD): 23

It was @ 10th a few days ago. Average Customer Review: 5.5 in a six Star rating systen, not to bad for a 25 y/o show.

I just checked my amazon account and they estimate shipping it on the 27th. It is supposed to come in on the 21st so I'm not sure why it will take a week before they send it out but I have gotten notices from them about my "shipping was delayed and will be sent ASAP" after I received the item. For the price I got I'm not going to complain too much if I have to wait a few more days.

Super saver shipping is nice, takes an extra week to ship though. I like the nickel contests, already saved myself several dollars.

Mine's due in on the 28th or the 29th. Interpretation: ships from Lexington on the 27th.

Hmm, Just checked mine and it's due on the 27th. That's right I didn't opt for Super Saver shipping cuz after 25 years another week is TOO LONG.

Am I closer to Amazon's ship point Jewels? I'm out here in Schwarzenegger land.

Default I read...

That the shipping date (at least on my notice) was Oct. 27th and arriving here around the 30th or 31st....

not sure if it has anything to do with location...

Default I just checked mine....

I just checked mine and this is what I got:

Items not yet shipped:
Delivery estimate: Oct 23, 2003 - Oct 24, 2003

I opted to pay the 2.98 for faster shipping - I figured that since I was getting it for a good price and I'm not able to go to the con, I might as well have something to keep me busy until everyone gets back from LA. It looks like I will get it right before or the day the con starts/

I checked on my order. It says it will be delivered between Oct. 29 -Oct. 30.
Must be location, I do live far away from sunny CA.

I live in California, and my estimated shipping day is also October 27th with an arrival date of October 30th. As much stuff as I order from Amazon, I can easily say that those dates are estimates. Amazon tends to ship items earlier than their given shipping date.

I think the asking price is a bit too high for only one season. I'll wait until it comes down a bit. (If it does)
