Tom's Thank You
Now that the really hard ordeal of the last few weeks seem to be over I want to say how appreciative I personally am of a few special individuals.
Sandy- Dude, I am very impressed. I appreciate all the help and hard work that you have given the recent dispute even though it was none of your making and you weren't even on this side of the planet. But your level headedness gave credence to CF's legitimacy and helped restore order to the BG fandom. Your counsel was missed while you were gone.
Jewels, Micheleh & Ojai- not so much a thank you here, but an apology for all you three had to go through. None of it was deserved. And sadly you had to take abuse and were because of privacy or falsely perceived bias you were not in a position were you could easily fight back. All three of you are wonderful members of our family and you add greatly to us. I am extremely sorry for the last two weeks.
Peter- On the initial day you were the main one who fought with me defending us. Out of all the ones who could see the internal workings of CF you were the only one to shout loudly its innocence on that first day. Thank you.
Don- Thank you for extending our life her, though on a few days we didn't deserve it. But your continued patronage is the underappreciated gift that brings us alot of joy.
to Darrell who gave us that one shining tidbit that gave us light when it was very dark.
Lazerdragon, larocque, dawg- Thank you for keeping an open mind and giving fair weight to my own personal word. And then in bravely championing our defense.
To Dvo and JJrakman - welcome back! This place isn't the same without you!
And this is the main big one, and the hardest to give exact credit to because there was such a huge number of people who gave us support. Nightscape, kingfish and Corwwyn your threads along with all its contributors gave me personally a reason to keep fighting. Being appreciated amoung all the dirt beig slung at CF made all the difference. Amberstar, shiningstar, Bst, and all the many many others who wear the "I LUV CF" sticker and who contribute "heartily" to make the spirit of CF what it is.
THANK YOU ALL

Thanks for the kind words Tom. On a happier note one of us has achieved greatness. Their work is in this month's edition of Starlog. Kudos to TBC.

Thomas,
Very glad to be able to do the right thing. I was also glad to have done the right thing for so many good people.

I appreciate your post, and thank you for your kind words. Everyone did come together in the middle of the chaos, but Tom the thanks really goes to you.
Without you and Don we would not have a Colonial Fleets to defend or call home. Thanks again.

Tom,
Thank YOU! I would like to echo Amber's sentiments, they capture my thoughts perfectly. In addition, and I have read this elsewhere in these forums and on CA, I really do think that this particular episode HAS brought us closer together and better focused on the ultimate GOAL.
I am truly honored to be amongst so many fine, upstanding individuals.
Well done, my friends, well done!

I just want to say I'm glad this place is still here. I don't know many of you well or at all, but I enjoy this place and thought it would be a sad shame if it went the way of the 12 colonies. For all involved, thanks for making this place what it is (awesome!), and for those who fought to keep it alive, thanks for fighting!

Hey Larocque- what problem are you having? avatars have to be less than 6000 bytes and less than 120x120.

I think the problem is that I don't have 50 posts to my name which is why my default is "no" to Avatar and I can't change it ot yes in profile.
Anyway - I'll have to keep on posting till I get 50...

the limit is just 25 posts. The limit is to basically only upload from people who will participate. We have alot of people who register but don't post.
I could put in an avatar if you want to email me one. But you are almost there.

Tom, I'd like to thank you. Without your positive energy and determination, we wouldn't be having this conversation now.

Thank you Tom for everything--even the day I could barely handle "that" question to answer one more time. Ditto to Sandy: you don't know how much the thought of disappointing either of you hurt. *hugs* for both of you being the truest kind of friend--the kind that asks questions even if they might hurt.
Thanks to everyone else that either sought the truth themselves, hung in there with us out of instinct or out of thinking the situation was overblown, and for those who believed what facts were still traceable and not dependent on any of our memories.

thanks, Paul. I'm just plum tuckered out. I wish you luck with your board--may you only get conversationalists there! (and may that be the type that adds to the number here as well.)
