V is coming back as a three hour tv movie, a CONTINUATION twenty years later. Marc Singer, Jane Badler, Faye Grant and others amy be returning; apparently NBC and Kenneth Johnson don't see them as being too old to bring in a new audience while pleasing the original fans.
Sound familiar, SciFi? Riddle me this...what will be a bigger ratings hit, Galactica remade or V continued?
And this is a VALID comparison, since both essentially were "one season wonders" (OK, V started as two TV minis then a series that wasn't that great because it deviated from the original...wait...Galactica originally was a series of telemovies (most reworked into two hour episodes) with a follow up series that wasn't that great beacuse it deviated from the original (Galactica 1980).
At least one network seems to understand what "fan base" really means...
