Listen up!
God, I feel like Tyrus Cassius McQueen!
For some time now a group of fans have been making plans to carry on the battle for Galactica.
At times it's true we've questioned certain decisions and people's willingness to fight for the show.
The great thing about the group I belong to is that most of us still regard CF as our home battlestar.
The plans we have formulated are ambitious and goes beyond any Galactica fan effort ever before attempted.
Right now those plans have stalled because they really need a far bigger and centralised command structure for them to be initiated.
Once the election for the council has closed and the members are in a postion to make some real decisions. Hopefully all the plans that have been made will be presented and some of them implemented.
Some of these plans can seriously dent the mini-series still fiming but I can't tell you what those plans are because we've learned to play one group of fans at their own game.
As I said before CF is our home battlestar but from now on it's members are going to have to recognise that it is only one such ship in a huge fleet.
We all know what the target is. We all know what the prize is at the end of this long journey.
Now stay on target, watch your six and shape up and fly right, because it ain't over by a longshot!
Peter

For a long time now I've been in a black funk over the show, finally a chink of light has appeared, when I woke up today, I just felt different.
So launch fighters and lets blow those golmonging tin heads out of the sky!
Peter
P.S. Crash, even after the mini has finished filming it's not over. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink it!

the next few weeks are going to be pretty hectic for me, but I'm with you all as best as I can be. To paraphrase Adama, I'm tired of running. The censorship on SciFi has set me over the edge. Where's my Viper?? I'm ready to go!

Peter,
In a thread titled To The Voters I touched on this group and the work that has been done. Yes, it does seem to have slowed down considerably but a Council can pick it up and run with it. But there's still the need for secrecy.
