Look good .. I always find the basestar difficult to Render.... whats your prog ?

I use lightwave.
The Basestar at first did not render very well but by adding more texturing to it, it finally came out OK but I'm still not pleased with it

I use LW myself .. I the last BSG picture I did I have them at a distance

Looks good , What lighting setup are you using?

Just a quick sugguestion you could use placed spot lights to highlight specific parts for the ship to make it look like it is powered & moving.
