For fans of "Dark Exodus"...
Hello, all...
Well, I have some slightly bad news regarding my upcoming sequel to my fanfic/novel of Battlestar Galactica: Dark Exodus.
Lemme give you the lowdown.
My band "House O' Hair" was playing our final night in Sioux Falls, SD. It was a great nite. Lots of people on the dance floor, jamming to Warrant, Poison, Great White, GNR and the like. Anyhoo...two extremely drunken bimbos decided they were going to try and cut it up on the dance floor. Now, on the stage, I use my trusty laptop to serve as a lyric prompter, in case I get hung up on a song. Said laptop also contained the treatment for my sequel story, tentatively titled "Battlestar Galactica: Reciprocity." Said bimbos ended rolling up on to the stage, and crushed my laptop screen. Deep down inside, I was ticked beyond words...but, my professionalism demanded that I carry on through the show as if nothing happened...I would have words with them later.
I thought for sure that my laptop was destroyed. FOrtunately, it is just the screen that is damaged....everything else seems in place. It may be a while before fans of Dark Exodus see anything of the new story, but it will surface.
I would like to thank everyone who has supported Dark Exodus, and given me feedback on the story. Hang in there for the sequel.
