Since this discussion is about music and not BSG, I've moved it over to the Cafe', since you often find music in cafe's. You also find music on BSG, but it usually didn't consist of 'hair metal'.
Personally, my favorites from that era include Cinderella and Warrant.
I also like Alice Cooper, Joan Jett (a lot of her stuff, at least), BOC......
