OK, there aren't any robots, or Aliens and in a lot of ways it's not 'really' sci-fi.
But where it fall short in some ways, it sure as hell makes up for them in others.
Should just tell you. This is an 18cert film, so expect violence and drug use.
The camera work is superb. The 3D is used to really clever effect.
I don't want to give anything away, but the Slo-Mo sequences are a amazing.
If you've been thinking about going to see it and haven't yet, or you fancy a futuristic cop-film thats unashamedly violent and viceral while being somewhat more cleverly put together than most, then get thee to thy mutiplex!
Saw it three days ago, haven't stopped thinking about it since.
A very worthy 8 out of 10.
I am SERIOUSLY thinking about buying a 3D TV because of this movie.
