Subject: MassBay Film project Seeks Galactica: 2nd Coming for Festival

Dear Galactica Fans:

My name is Mark Volpe and I am the Production Director of the non-
profit MassBay Film Project located in central Massachusetts. I am
writing to ask you if you know how can reach Richard Hatch. I would
like to screen BATTLESTAR GALACTICA: THE SECOND COMING at our
FANZILLICON 2004 fan film festival in Worcester, Massachusetts (45
minutes west of Boston) this coming April. There is no charge to
the public; this is a festival celebrating the power and devotion of
fans who love their shows and movies enough to take up filmmaking.

I have not heard back from Mr. Hatch since contacting him directly
through his web site. As he lists no agent on the IMDB, I am at a
loss as to how to ask him for permission to show the film, and how
to get a copy either on DVD or miniDV.

I reach out to you, the fans, for your help in this matter.

FANZILLICON 2004 has already gotten a thumbs up from Sandy Collora,
whose fan film BATMAN: DEAD END has achieved acclaim on the
Internet. We have a unique shot for shot remake of RAIDERS OF THE
LOST ARK by a cast and crew that took six years to film it. Fans of
Star Trek are sending their pilot episode for STAR TREK: THE NEW
VOYAGES (www.5yearmission.com), a show featuring young fan actors
playing Kirk, Spock, and McCoy, and featuring entire original series
sets built to perfect scale, flawless 3D computer renderings of the
starship Enterprise. And we have STAR WARS FAN TRAILERS, MATRIX FAN
FILMS, even a LIZZY MACQUIRE homage. What would be the icing on the
cake would be to showcase a Galactica film along side of them, not
only for all the Galactica fans, but to demonstrate Mr. Hatch's
personal solidarity with the fan film community.

I look forward to hearing from anyone who can help me track him
down, and wish all of you the best of success on your future
endeavors.

Sincerely yours,

Mark Volpe
