These were the crunchy ones. They're the "Special" brand.
While we were in college, my roommate introduced me to their chips. Probably in the last 5 years or so, they started selling them widespread in the Pittsburgh market. Then, I fell in love with their pretzels.
They're actually made in eastern PA, in a town called Hanover. The area was widely settled by German immigrants, commonly referred to as "Pennsylvania Dutch", in the 1700's.
