Mini-Series Pushed Back a Day!

The Sci-Fi Channel mini-series web site indicates that Ron Moore's "Battlestar Galactica" mini-series has been pushed back a day from December 7th to December 8th. Of note, December 7th falls on a Sunday this year, just like it did in 1941. Perhaps Bonnie Hammer (finally) realized that it's very bad taste to broadcast a sneak attack mini-series on the same day and date that Pearl Harbor was attacked.

Continuation for the Fans

New report from oldwardaggit of Radio Galactica: "Well for a while now, many of you know that I have been poking my head in here and asking some questions and it was all for a good reason. For the last few months I took on the task of going through all the episodes of Battlestar Galactica that I have recorded to audio. I even went through the Galactica 1980 episodes also and I have been making samples of almost everything they say. Now I have a huge sample of Galactica MP3s that run well into the thousands. I didn't want to say anything until I had something to show and now I do. I've been working with Darrell (Warrior) on an audio version of Battlestar Galactica that will be a continuation 25 yahrens later that is based on what most of the fans have asked for. A sample will be available soon on BattlestarGalactica.com and the whole thing should be ready by the time Galacticon rolls around. The sample is a dream sequence that Apollo has while a sleep in his Viper on a mission with Starbuck. All I will say is, to the fans, Galactica 1980 was a nightmare. Well now it's one to Apollo also. I will open up a thread for discussion in the general discussion forum so feel free to ask any question and take part. Thanks every one." Many thanks to oldwardaggit for posting the report at Colonial Fleets!

Something to Dance About...

Awesome new report from Jewels at Colonial Fleets: "I need to point something out in very loud letters: The Complete Epic Series, Battlestar Galactica is ranked 219 out of the tens of thousands of things that Amazon sells. To stay within the genre, for comparison sake, the hottest selling (released Aug. 5th, 2003) Star Trek box set at Amazon is Season 4 of Deep Space 9 ranked: 313. And DS9 has not been off the air as long. Excuse me, Bonnie, Ron & David, what was that about 'forgotten' again? That giant awoke. And it wasn't your doing." Thanks to Jewels for posting the awesome report at Colonial Fleets! Update: Jewels report was posted on Sept. 23rd. As of Sept. 26th, the rank is now 121!!
