We played those previously undefeated Polar Bears today, the hand picked play to win all-star team.
The Lord's of Kobol smiled on my little Thunderbolts, they won the game 7 to 5 with my daughter scoring 5 goals. It was a great game. Most of the game we were ahead by one point but we could never pull away. I substituted more this game then any past game as the girls gave it there all. The experienced girls played great and the less experienced played their best. It was a nail biter for the girls, the coach (me) and the parents. There were a lot of smiles when the game ended.
I think the Polar Bears were surprised! If things continue the way they are going we will probably play them again at the end of the season in the championship game.
