Yes, there are some really good Sketchup modelers out there. I have Skp models of the Nostromo and Sulaco from the ALIEN series of movies, and they are very well done.
Only thing I don't like about Sketchup is the cartoony texturing it uses.
Big thing I LOVE about Sketchup, the models are easily converted for use in iClone.
