Here's something funny from the toddler world for you:
My daughter is at that stage where cars and balls and paper tubes are the BEST toys. Though she can now identify apples and peaches for a while all of the following constituted balls: balls, apples, oranges, peaches, grapes, peas and balloons. My favorite: Holding a pea at eye level, announcing with gusto, "BALL" dropping it to see it bounce or throwing it onto the floor. Someday she'll actually eat her peas. Now they are just small "BALL".
