Ian, I didn't play the Republic Era in Historic Battle mode, but, since Geonosis was the final battle of Episode II, and Endor is the final battle in Episode VI, then I am guessing you are in for a very tough road.
By the time I had to take my rental back, I still had not beaten Endor level on Historic mode.
