My only question would be what world will you create?

You say a revival. Does that mean your going to create a strictly TOS format?

That's a really good question - I had just assumed that it would be TOS-based, but that was just an assumption on my part.

Even if the main bits are TOS-based, I'm sure there would be sections that would be based on TNS for the relevant material.

I would also like to know what to expect...

Well.. I'm assuming it will be like our smilies. I think there will be a main effort to make a world based on the original show. Unlike the new one we ALL unitedly like that. But I think we need to be like CFF in that we have no ill will toward the new show. We simply are trying to remake a world we all like. There is nothing wrong or discriminatory about making a TOS world.


Though I'm sure after we get the main bulk in place some people may enjoy having several different types of viper in the landing bay. Because we aren't two groups, just one group with mixed opinions.

Personally, I would like to make a slightly modified TOS design. Like I mentioned with don all those hallways have these bulky boxy units like sticking out of the walls. Instead of making them just like the old show, it would be cool to make them Life support units. Or instead of carpeting, we make metal deck plating on the bridge. Things like that.

At least that is what I would like.

To answer both your posts Don and Rowan and Gemini (both? can I use "both" for 3 people???) -- I chose violet because... it is a mixture of red and blue ;) (Although mostly red, old habits die hard ;) ).

Many thanks to Thomas for fixing the stylesheets for me. I have always found stylesheets to be very easy, but doing it via the admin panel is another thing entirely... :LOL:

The initial intent is of course to create TOS elements, because that is the version we cannot currently touch, with either eyes or hearts. The central hub will definitely be the big G we all knew and loved. But we do not wish to remain exclusive, the hub will allow 3d hyperlinks to all things Galactica -- TOS, G80 (!) and <shudder> the new stuff -- even Monty Galactica -- "How do you know he's a King?" "Cuz he hasn't got sh** all over 'im" -- hey, it could happen!!!!!!!!!! :LOL:

The colors?
For some reason this area appears the same as the classic Galactica discussion areas. Should I be seeing something different or am I misunderstanding?

Or is it the crack? Cuz, I'm not giving that up.

It's either Agora purple or Purple Feathered Boa's purple.

It's all kind of purple in the back ground and the window edging is a purple/red colour and our names are a beautiful purple ( I admit I was drawn to post here just so that I could see my name in purple!!;) )
and at the top some of the words are purple others look like periwinkle

Check you color settings (right click your desktop - check to see how many colors you have set). You may not have enough colors.
