Mia Hamm retires tonight
 

Tonight ESPN classic is airing the final game of Mia Hamm, Joy Fawcett, and Julie Foudy. After tonight these greats of US women's soccer will be retiring from the sport.

Tonight is the exhibition game of the US vs Mexico.

No more cheers of "Mia! Mia!".

I really fell in love with her and she made me get interested in Women's soccer. Not just because she is very pretty, but because she truly embodied the spirit of sports. No divaness. No ego clashing. Just teamwork and doing your best. And being damn good at it.

sigh....No more "Hammin' " it up, I guess. :D

She was a great, no doubt about it. But I am more looking forward to her hubby, Nomar, playing for the Cubs!!! Go Cubbies!!!
