What is FRACK!?

The CFF is in the planning stages of producing a Fanzine called FRACK!

We're talking an actual printed magazine!

We're pulling together all of the elements at the moment... the 'zine will be available for order when the ads come out in September.

Expect: Humor, opinions, art, fan fiction, news, musings, interviews, and BSG memories from the people that made it great.

Contributors (at this point) include Dawg, Bishop37, RGrant, Stallion_Cornell, Muffit, TwoBrainedCylon and yours truly. Micheleh is Editor-In-Chief, and Jewels is Art Director!

Watch http://www.colonialfanforce.org for updated information between now and September... and if anyone has a story idea or wants to be a part of it, please email me at info@colonialfanforce.org.

FRACK!

It's not just for breakfast anymore...

"What is frack?"
Quite simply, frack is kcarf spelled backwards... :D

Ooh, I've got a furball in my throat *kcarf* *kcarf*

:D :D :D

Seriously though,
Well done Cmdr! And to the whole team! What a wonderful idea!

Oh, a fanzine!

Can I expect any RDM interviews in this?

I'll let you know in a few years.

Maybe a once a year (01APR) edition could be mini friendly (titled Felgercarb!).

Or maybe it could be a two-in-one mag, when you flip it over, it becomes Felgercarb!.

What is hell's airport code, I'll look it up on Intellicast.

Hi,

I love the little cartoons in newspapers. I came up with quite a few ideas for a guy who was making Star Wars ones, although he only used one of them...

Problem is I can't draw, but if someone else can I would like to offer to contribute to providing ideas for funny cartoons to have once in a while....

It does beg the question, in what direction is this magazine traveling?? It appears to be very original series friendly, what about the new mini??

Will there be news coverage of it and the new series??

I imagine, Charybdis, that you have nothing to be concerned about. *licks finger, tests wind* Yea, at least not for the 1st issue.

Darth, we can't be competing with any marketing/fan mag Skiffy compiles for their baby after all. ;)

DarkJedi June 11th, 2004 11:32 AM

And there will be convention information!!! :D

CommanderTaggart June 12th, 2004 11:34 AM

Charybdis... this will be a Fanzine that focuses exclusively on TOS and the CFF efforts for a TOS continuation.
