Firefly Movie
Well while there still isn't an official announcement, things are looking better. Check out Universal Pictures and put your mouse over the Coming Soon, and there listed is SERENITY the name of the Firefly movie! Nice!!
Let's hope this happens. It was such a shame to lose this show, and if the plan stays they want the movie to lead back into another series. And since Universal owns Sci-Fo that could lead into the show being a new Sci-Fi series. |
HHHOOOOOOYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce: I am SO looking forward to this! I hope they can get all the cast. I know they will have to rebuild the sets. I remember them being destroyed. :( |
Actually I heard the sets were just all packed away, as the show wasn't officially cancelled, but put on hiatus.
|
nope. destroyed. They kept it standing for a month longer than they expected, but I'm pretty sure I remember them getting axed. Literally.
Though the actor who played Wash stole the big red return button before they did it. ;) |
Kiba posted these tips for Supporting the Movie:
One of the most important things Firefly fans can do is support the production of a Firefly movie. Getting in touch with Universal, the studio that optioned the script, is the best way to do this. You can send an email to Universal from their Contact Us page telling them how excited you are that they've picked up the movie. You can send a thank you note to Mary Parent, Vice Chairman of worldwide production for Universal Pictures, and Stacy Snider, Chairman of Universal Pictures, for their decision to pick up the Firefly movie here: Universal Pictures 100 Universal City Plaza Universal City, CA 91608 Some suggestions for your email and thank you notes:
