Amazing Dream...

Want to share something quite unusual yet BSG related that happened to me this morning. For the last 2 nights, I have been unable to sleep, even for one minute. It is quite painful, both watching the clock tick by during the night and waiting for dawn to break, and of course feeling horrible the following day.

But this morning, just after I woke my daughter up for school, I instantly fell asleep for about 10 minutes. I had this vivid dream, and in it I was standing next to Lorne Greene (and several others who walked away to the side), and he had his arm around me. I guess we were in a film cuz he led me forward to a mark - and I had the feeling the script called for him to let go. Yet he decided not to, and to stay near me, like a father to a child, with this big smile, partly of affection and partly of humor that I was such a neophyte at acting. And I was really me, incredibly shy next to him, such a famous and beloved actor. He led me to my mark and we stood there, and I even tried my hand at improvisation and pointed off into the imaginary scenery before us and babbled something to him. The thing is, he was /real/, not like a dream at all. His reactions to me were so honest and unexpected that when my daughter woke me, I felt I had really and truly been with him.

Wonderful how, just when life seems unmerciful, it surprises you with an act of mercy and kindness as rich as sweet dark chocolate.

Just wanted to share that with you all...

Although mine wasn't Battlestar related I know EXACTLY what you're taking about as far as the "realness" goes. I never wanted to wake up and when I did, it took 10 mins to remember where I was.
