More SG-1 and Dr Who News Now Posted.

Some of this has has already been posted with regard to Dr Who, but have sourced a few more quotes from else and essentially redone it.

Also have got some new quotes via a recent interview with Amanda Tapping her talks about what she would like to see happen in the 8th season. Note that the coupon for $5 off Jeremiah which you will see at the bottom of the page was given to me by MGM, am yet to find out if they passed it on with a means to people being able to print it off and cut it out to redeem at the chosen retailers, but as soon as I know something I will let you all know.

Hopefully they spread the budget more evenly throughout the DR. Who season. Think Scamper (from another forum) said it best:
Quote:

I remember hearing somewhere that the Dr. Who series (well, at least some of its incarnations) were so budget-limited that they would always start a given season, relatively cash-flush, with elaborate sets, costumes, and props, but by the end of the season they were reduced to using such vaunted techniques as silver paint on household items.
 :salute:

Thank you so much for posting these links.

One of my FAVORITE QUOTES ..........from the MAL YOUNG Interview ...............

"The Trick that we have to pull off is to stay true to the original spirit of the
show and the original character, but make it for the 21st century and a
younger audience now who have been bought up watching some
fantastic sci-fi films and TV shows. Television changed; films have changed.
So we have to stay true to the times."

Too back that Ron Moore and Bonnie Hammer knew NOTHING about
staying TRUE to the ORIGINAL spirit of BSG........ UNLIKE the MINI and
it's INCARNATION ....................Dr. WHO is a show I WILL most likely
allow my children to watch.
