I spotted this one the other day. I'm sort of in two minds about it... on the one hand, it's Trek the way it used to be, but on the other the SFX in teh trailer seemed a bit shiny... perhaps that's just me. :D It'd be nice if they or someone did some movie era stuff as well, though.

Hi Proximo,

I think I'd rather they did it on another starship, but at least the sets are great, and it looks like it's a great fun idea for fan produced films.

If it were me, I would definitely make it on another ship though. That way, it wouldn't be recasting the original crew.

Agreed. :)

My personal Star Trek film idea is to crew the Lexington, Hood, Potempkin and Excalibur in the episode: "The Ultimate Computer" and intercut it with the original episode, making a two hour flick out of it.
