Brian Singer making Logan's Run, Logan To Run Again?

In the intriguing news bit of the week, Dark Horizons is reporting that X-Men director Brian Singer is considering helming a remake of the classic Sci-Fi film "Logan's Run." While not perfect, "Logan's Run" was a terrific film about a society that hunted and removed anyone over the age of 30. The fleeing citizens, known as runners, were searching for the secret destination known as Sanctuary. Run, runner, run! Classic!

The Sci Fi guys did point out the obvious need for new actors, the 30-year-old Carousel thing. But these actors are still working, so dvo wonders if Michael York & Jenny Agutter might reprise Peter Ustinov’s character Ballard: The Old Man as a couple?

Thanks for the news dvo. I really wish these folks would leave well enough alone. Logan's Run is a CLASSIC. It doesn't need or warrant remaking. The day they remake 10 Commandments or Ben Hur is the day I give up movies and go back to radio. :)
